WHAT IS POLITICAL MANAGEMENT
Politics requires not only a thorough understanding of
constitutional rights and activities associated with governing relations, but
also an ability to engage, fruitfully, in its activities. Citizens of a society
like India are often lost amidst the chaos of politics, with very little
comprehension of the hows and whys of politics. What controls the media? What
is the purpose and importance of PR to politics? How does one rally and
campaign?
Political management is the field that defines this aspect
of politics. From campaign development to lobbying, public advertising to fund
raisers, it covers the face of politics that is, therefore, the thorough
understanding of the applications of political science.
WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT TO INDIA?
India, the largest democracy in the world, is unfortunately,
grossly illiterate in its politics. We exist in the middle of mayhem in our
governance; aware that changes is warranted, yet completely clueless to where
to start.
We are in dire need of the active involvement of the educated
youth who will make a difference to our government; but this is a youth that
has lost faith in its own leaders. It is therefore, imperative that we provide
more citizens with access to an education in political management. There is
much room for improvement, and an entire governing body that needs reform.
HOW IS INDIA CHANGING? WHAT IS THE CURRENT STATE OF AFFAIRS?
Thankfully, the advent of technology and the widespread
reach of education has stirred the minds of the citizens of India. More and more
people in the middle class of society have begun to demand the need for human
security, dignity, and their rights as citizens.
This, without a doubt, the new Indian society. Therefore, it
is most relevant at this juncture to form a society that will provide the
appropriate education for its people. We need something that will teach people
their rights, and encourage them to demand good governance. Above all, there is
a need for the emphasis on the importance of participation, as citizens.
WHERE DOES ONE START?
We believe that the way to facilitate change is to identify
the individual voters. The specific target voter is not one lies at either
extreme of the voting spectrum, rather the one who positions slightly right to
the centre, or who is just leaning away from other parties.
A population percentage as small as 5% can greatly impact
the results of an election. The impact of this statistic is of immense value to
a nation like India. We live in a society where most registered voters opt out
of voting, purely because of a perceived lack of strength and attractiveness in
our governing system. The lack of educated voter, however, will result in
lesser control over the type of governing that takes place in the country, in
turn increasing the level of frustration. Part of the reason why most voters do
not know what to do, though, is an intrinsic lack of awareness, fuelled by a
lack of social understanding of governance.
In order to combat a lack of awareness, we need to develop easier
access to information. We live in a time where technology dominatoures. The
internet has opened up the world to millions, and taking advantage of this can
help our mission greatly. The provision of informative websites, through
mainstream and social media (like Facebook ), will allow our message to reach
the youth and middle class of the country. In addition to this, the development
of mobile phone Apps will allow the youth to further engage in and understand
the politics of our country.
ASIAN COLLEGE OF POLITICAL MANAGEMENT. (GRADUATE COURSE)
In addition to regular seminars on the current political
status in India, the Asian College of Political Management features courses on
applied, practical politics, rather than building political theory, the public
policy, public administration. The focus of the college is not to instill a
sense of what politics is, rather to provide a better insight as hoe politics
affects us, and how it is shaped. It is this part of polics that directly
affects society, and its view of governance in its nation.
WHO ARE WE, AND WHAT IS OUR AIM?
The Asian College of Political Management educates students
and professionals in tools, principles and values of participatory democracy.
Through this, the aim is to prepare them for careers as ethical and effective
advocates and leaders at the international, national and local levels. The
college is the pioneer in the field of political management education, or,
broadly speaking, “Applied Politics”. Politics when studied and understood with
finesse and clarity will inevitably result in the advancement of a society,
and, ultimately, success. With this as our goal, we wish to provide a means of
allowing this change to occur. For those who want to make a difference to
society, and take charge of ensuing that change occurs in the country’s
governing. Asian College of Political Management offers an innovative learning
environment that will help create the next generation of citizen leaders.
WHAT IS OUR PLAN?
As the only school of Applied Politics in the country, our
focus is on those people with a passion for politics, those who want to make a
difference to the country in any which way, and those who, ultimately, are
looking for a career in the political realm. The program being offered is a
unique program in Indian higher education, with the sole mission of producing
and affecting a positive change in politics. This change, we believe, is only
possible through education.
The training and college has developed an educational
program in the art, science and business of politics, which will provide a
strong foundation for our graduates. The college will also be affiliated with
other Colleges and Universities all over India. This is granted once students
have registered as per the terms and conditions set out for implementations of
the program, in line with the main objective. As a result, uniform coaching and
training is ensured to the students.

immense experience in the field of politics will be selected to provide a
better understanding of the field. World-class scholars and renowned political
management and communications practitioners will allow students a better look
at the applied field of politics, with perspectives that they might not get
elsewhere. We offer a distinguished faculty and cadre of seasoned adjunct
professors and directors from the political and communications arenas, along
with dynamic visiting lecturers. The faculty will work together to offer
students a strong innovative academic foundation, as well as a hands-on,

important as learning within, and for this reason, our students will learn in
